What is Treyd?

Treyd is a buy-now-pay-later service for supplier invoices. We pay your suppliers on your behalf and you pay us back up to 4 months later.

The point of Treyd is to free up capital that would otherwise get stuck in the supply chain. Growing businesses can keep momentum as they don't need to worry about cash flow crunches, or make hard choices between investing in growth or stocking up on inventory.

Treyd is a regulated payment institution with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and is backed by two leading venture capital funds and a long list of individual investors.

How does Treyd work?

After creating your account and getting approved for a Treyd limit, you can upload your supplier invoices along with payment details in the Treyd portal. Treyd will pay your supplier according to your instructions and send you a payment confirmation. You will also get an invoice from Treyd for the repayment (that should happen within 1-4 months, depending on the terms you choose).

What does Treyd cost?

We charge a flat fee for each invoice we pay on your behalf. The total amount will depend on your chosen terms of 1 to 4 months, but will always be clearly shown on the platform before you confirm your order. Having a limit won’t cost you anything – so you only pay for our service if you use it.

What kind of companies can use Treyd?

We can only work with limited companies (Ltd) that buy and sell finished products. Please note that certain types of products or industries are excluded – you can find the full list here:

Approval is based on a variety of factors, but generally speaking, customers that qualify for a Treyd limit tend to have good growth potential, with $200,000 or more in annual sales.
