Your cash is tied up in stock and unpaid invoices

Working capital finance is short-term funding that covers the gap between paying for stock and getting paid by your customers. For product businesses, that gap is where growth stalls.

You pay suppliers before goods arrive, hold stock for weeks, then wait 30 to 60 days or more for customers to pay. Seasonal peaks make the gap bigger, and a large order you can't fund upfront is an order you turn down.

Bank loans and overdrafts weren't built for this cycle. Treyd's working capital solutions are: you finance the specific supplier invoices that create the gap, and nothing else.

What product businesses use it for

Retailers, e-commerce brands, wholesalers and importers

Seasonal stock build

Retailers and e-commerce and DTC brands buy Christmas and summer stock months ahead. Finance it now and repay after the season sells through.

Bigger supplier orders

Wholesalers and importers place bigger orders and get better unit prices without draining cash. Treyd pays the supplier upfront.

Bridging customer terms

Wholesalers selling on 30 to 60 day terms pay their suppliers with Treyd and repay after their own customers have paid.

How Treyd works

One limit for your supplier invoices.

  1. 1

    Get a limit

Apply online in minutes and get a credit decision within 24 hours. Having a limit costs nothing; you only pay for what you finance.

  2. 2

    Pay suppliers now

Upload a supplier invoice and we pay your supplier directly. Deposit, proforma and final invoices all work.

  3. 3

    Choose your repayment date

Pick 30 to 150 days for each invoice when you confirm. You see the exact fee before you commit.

  4. 4

    Repay in one payment

Repay each invoice in a single payment, or earlier if you like. Your limit refills as you repay.

Treyd vs. a bank loan or overdraft

Plus revenue-based finance, on speed, security and cost

Bank loan

Weeks to approve. Usually secured on assets, often with a personal guarantee. Interest plus arrangement fees, repaid monthly over a fixed term whether you need the cash or not.

Overdraft

Takes time to arrange and is reviewed every year. Often secured. Interest on the balance plus arrangement or renewal fees, and usually repayable on demand.

Revenue-based finance

Days to approve, usually unsecured. A fixed fee repaid as a share of your daily sales, so repayments rise and fall with revenue. One lump sum at a time.

Treyd

Credit decision within 24 hours. Your stock isn't the security. One flat fee per invoice, 1.2–2.8% a month, shown upfront. Use it invoice by invoice; your limit refills.

Who Treyd's working capital is for

Product businesses with a year of trading behind them

You sell physical products

Retailers, e-commerce and DTC brands, wholesalers and importers selling goods or raw materials.

You've traded for a year or more

A limited company with at least one year of trading. No sole traders.

You turn over €200,000+

Annual revenue of €200,000 or more. Your limit is reviewed as you grow.

Not the right fit if…

You sell services rather than goods, need a long-term loan for property or equipment, or want more than five months to repay.

What it costs

One flat fee per financed invoice, based on the amount and how long you take to repay. In Ireland, fees range from 1.2% to 2.8% per month. No setup fee, no account fee and nothing to pay for a limit you don't use. Example at a monthly rate of 1.6%:

  1. Company X, an Irish homeware retailer, has a €100,000 limit at a monthly rate of 1.6%.

  2. They use Treyd to pay a €40,000 supplier invoice for their Christmas stock and repay after 3 months.

  3. The total fee is €1,920 (1.6% of €40,000 × 3 months). They repay €41,920 in one payment.

Working capital finance questions

What Irish businesses ask before applying.

Is Treyd's working capital finance in Ireland a loan?

It's a revolving credit limit, not a term loan. Treyd pays your supplier invoices, and you repay each one in a single payment after 1 to 5 months. There's no monthly instalment schedule, and your limit refills as you repay.

Does Treyd require a personal guarantee?

Not as standard. Any security, including a personal guarantee, is decided case by case in the credit assessment, and you'll know before you sign anything. We don't take your stock as security.

How quickly can my business get funded?

Apply online in minutes and get a credit decision within 24 hours of a complete application. Once you have a limit, you choose which invoices to finance in the Treyd platform.

Can I finance seasonal stock with Treyd?

Yes. Finance the supplier invoices for your pre-season stock now and repay up to five months later, after the season's sales come in. You only pay for the invoices you finance.

How does Treyd compare with a bank overdraft?

An overdraft is a bank facility you draw on as needed, usually with interest on the balance, arrangement or renewal fees, and often security. Treyd works invoice by invoice: each financed invoice has one flat fee, shown upfront, and a set repayment date. You pay nothing when you're not using your limit.

What costs can Treyd finance?

Supplier invoices for stock and raw materials, warehouse and shipping costs, and digital marketing.

Easy and smooth process all the way, team always available and reactive. Great for e-commerce companies facing liquidity squeeze due to big Q4 inventory purchases.
